What is emergency light testing?
Emergency light testing is testing and inspection of emergency lights within a building which illuminates escape routs, ensuring safe evacuation of people in the event of an emergency.
What is involved?
Every 12 months the emergency lights are run down over a period of time to ensure they perform within their required time. This has to be performed out of hours because of the nature of the work.
Who does it apply to?
All commercial premises and where the public visit.
